Houpe

Houpe is an interactive kinetic installation located in front of the Automatické mlýny complex in Pardubice. The piece invites visitors to actively participate — by selecting an amount between 50 and 5,000 Czech crowns on a display and paying by card, the boat begins to rock. The higher the contribution, the more intense the experience, enhanced by a specially composed sound track that accompanies the movement.

Beyond its playful and engaging nature, the installation carries a meaningful purpose: all proceeds support Svítání, a Pardubice-based school dedicated to children, youth, and adults with special educational needs.
