The woman I put in the city also wasn’t right, it just didn’t work there at all. I knew that, so in all honesty it didn’t bother me much when city hall’s fundamentalist chief conservationist ordered its removal. The sculpture had the same reflection on all sides. It disappeared into the background. But as a result I realized it would be an ingenious camouflage for tanks in the city. They almost vanish – at three different angles they start to reflect their surroundings.
